Your profile

Your identifiers, the agent answering your questions and your account security settings.

Your profile is the panel behind your avatar: the identifiers you need when you call Verbatim
AI from your own systems, the agent answering your questions, and everything that belongs
to your account rather than to a Corpus β€” your password, the look of the app, its language,
and the way out.

Opening it πŸ‘†

Tap your avatar at the top-right of the screen β€” the little coloured portrait, generated
from your account, so no two accounts look alike. The panel slides in from the right. Tap
anywhere outside it, or swipe it back, to close it. It is the same panel on a phone and on a
wide screen.

πŸ”

What your profile holds stays confidential. It is used to run your account and give

your Corpus the context it needs; it is never shared publicly.

At the top: password & theme 🎨

Under your avatar sit the two buttons that change your account rather than your knowledge:

  • πŸ›‘οΈ Password β€” opens the page where you change it. See
    Keep your account secure below.
  • 🎨 Theme β€” opens a palette. Pick a colour and the whole app takes it, immediately. The
choice is remembered on this device, so the app opens in your colour next time.
β˜€οΈ

Light or dark? That one is not here β€” it is the sun/moon button in the top bar,

next to your avatar.

Your email πŸ“§

The address you sign in with. It is shown for reference and cannot be changed here β€”
write to us if it has to move.

Your organization Id πŸ†”

Just under your email, the unique identifier of your organization β€” a UUID, displayed as a
chip. Tap the chip to copy it to your clipboard; a message confirms it left. πŸ“‹

πŸ”‘

When do you need it? Whenever you call our secured API. The JWT token you sign

carries your organization Id in its oid claim, which tells us who the call belongs to.
See API keys.

The agent that answers you πŸ€–

The Agent section shows the agent running your questions β€” its card,
exactly as it appears in the Agents space, with what it is for and its reasoning effort.

  • Until you pick one, that is the agent carrying the Default badge. There is no "no
agent" state: something always answers, and the card says which.
  • Choose an agent opens the picker; once you have picked, the button reads Change
    agent
and Use the default agent appears beside it to hand your questions back in one
    tap.
  • Tapping the card opens the same picker. In the profile the card is the setting, not a
    link to the agent's page.

Two other places write exactly the same choice: the πŸ€– button in the header of a
Story, and the Use this agent button on the agent's own page in the
Agents list. Set it wherever you happen to be.

The choice holds for every Story from then on and survives closing the app. Delete the agent
you had picked and you go back to the default one β€” the section then says the agent you
picked is no longer available, rather than pretending nothing changed.

🎭

Tone, behaviour and structure of the answers live on the agent too, in its system
instruction
. That is where the old personalities went: instead of six fixed characters,

you write β€” or fork β€” the one that fits your profession. See Agents.

The language of the app 🌍

At the bottom of the list, the FR / EN switch changes the language of the interface on the
spot. It dresses the buttons and the menus; it does not decide the language your assistant
answers in β€” that follows the language you write in. The switch applies to the session you are
in; open the app again and it follows your device language.

At the bottom: keys, sign out, delete πŸšͺ

  • πŸ”‘ Keys β€” opens the RSA public keys published for your organization, the other half of
calling the API. See API keys.
  • πŸšͺ Sign out β€” closes the session and takes you back to the sign-in screen.
  • πŸ—‘οΈ Delete my account β€” asks for a confirmation, then removes your account and the data
Verbatim AI holds for it. It cannot be undone. Only confirm if you are sure you will
    never use the application again.

The version number sits right at the very bottom. Quote it when you report a problem β€”
it tells us exactly which build you were on. 🐞

Keep your account secure πŸ”

Your data is sensitive, so protect your account with a strong, unique password and change it
regularly. The Password button asks for your current password, then the new one twice.

Password rules β€” the form checks them as you type, each rule turning green once it is met:

  • At least 6 characters
  • At least one uppercase and one lowercase letter
  • At least one number
  • At least one special character

Avoid common words and proper names, and the confirmation has to match the new password
exactly.

Good habits

  • Use a unique password for each account.
  • Never share your password with anyone.
  • Change it regularly to stay protected.
πŸ™ˆ

Forgotten your password? Use the 🐞 button in the top bar to write to us β€” we'll

help you reset it.
